Scientific Minds has a new home ... again

As some of you are aware, we've been having problems here. A while ago, a problem developed with the database, making it so that the site wouldn't load. I contacted the company hosting the site, and they claimed that the problem was not on their end, which I was pretty sure was not true. After noticing other database problems that were definitely on their end, I called again and was told that someone would look into it and get back to me. That never happened. Well, I got tired of waiting and decided to set up a new site with a different host and move Scientific Minds over to it. As you can see, everything here is now working fine, at least that I can see. If you discover something that isn't working right, please let me know.

Please make note of the new address and pass on the word to any friends who come here.

Personal Note: For any of you thinking about setting up a Web site, do NOT choose iPower.com as your host. I've had one problem after another with them, and they sometimes take weeks to fix the issues.

Anonymous Reviews Discontinued

Unfortunately, due to the massive amount of spam that is being posted as story reviews, I have turned off the ability for non-members to post reviews. From now on, only those who are logged in can post reviews. It's a shame that a few inconsiderate people have made this necessary.

I have also deleted all the spam. Because I did so directly from the database, many stories now say they have reviews when they actually don't. I will clean this up when I have the time.

Help needed to name the authors

While going through the fanfics archived in the old Scientific Minds, I found quite a few with no author name in the file. With some of them, I was unable to find out who the authors were. I need your help to identify the authors of these fics so that they can be archived. Click here to go to a page where I've put the titles of these stories, along with short excerpts. If you know who the author is for any of them, please contact me through the contact form on this site. Thanks for all your help.

It's taken a long time, but Scientific Minds has finally returned. My apologies to the former owners and all Daniel/Sam fans for it taking so long. Hey, all you authors out there with Daniel/Sam stories. We want your fics. Readers, we want your reviews. So get busy!
